InterviewInitially we will share some information so I can learn more about your health, stressors, lifestyle, injury, work and recreation activities. What to WearFor the purposes of a full body massage, it is necessary for you be disrobed. Your modesty will be maintained as you will be covered with a drape (sheet) with only the area receiving treatment being uncovered. In order to achieve maximum access to the lower back and gluteus muscles it is best that all clothing is removed, however, your comfort, feeling of safety and ability to relax is paramount so if you feel it is necessary to leave your underwear on, I can work around that. Arrive wearing loose fitting, comfortable clothing that is easy to remove and put back on. Also, because oils are used in the course of a massage, wear clothing that will not be damaged should any remnants of those oils be remaining on your skin. If the massage is for a particular injury, it may be that only the injured area and supporting structures need be massaged. Are you Body Conscious?Let’s talk about being body conscious.
